Koko von Kirschenbaum is a magnificent 4 year old long haired German Shepherd. One of our volunteers just happened to be at a county run shelter when someone was turning in Koko, they wanted to find something smaller. They were not emotional at all, just matter of fact. I guess it is like turning in your truck for a compact car. Koko was confused by what happened to him but was very happy to be picked up by a Westside volunteer. He rode well in the car, he actually loves to ride. He walks well on a leash and sits when asked. He shares a run with two other dogs and goes into a doggy play group twice a day. He is just the most spectacular dog, everyone stops to watch him stroll by!
